actually, the picture i drew it from must have been taken using a very bright light or something, becuase there were hardly any shadows! it was hard to even shape the nose... but you're right, i could've added in some shading of my own for definition. visual kei can sometimes be like that... so are you inot jrock or visual kei? i am totally new to deviant art so.. thanks for looking at my picture < 33

weeee <3 visual kei, in my opinion, is the greatest concept on this planet! i love it because it's no... like... non-genre. non categorizing.. like.. you have your extreme heavy metal visual kei guys, and then the pop-music type like psycho le cemu, and then the more soft-roft plastic tree, and then miyavi.. he's like the best representative of it because his songs oncompass all those "genres" but he is still visual kei. being an artist, i appreciate visual kei very much because visual art is so much of part of the feelings and stuff, and when you encorporate the feeling with audio as well as visual... then it's just a very beautiful thing isn't it? if you ever have any questions regarding visual kei, you can ask me.. and i'll give my best answer. i <3 miyavi !!!

do you have soulseek? or some other download thing? i'm on soulseek, my name is zeonipsa. you can download from me if you like.. i don't have much, but if you remind me, i can put some files on my computer. my harddrive only holds 12 gig so i'm always having to rotate my files. so i don't mind at all. just search for miyavi or due le quartz, and you know... find ones with video file extensions like.mpg, .mpeg, .avi etc. (just incase you didn't know) and you're all set. that's what i did.

have you seen oresma? the movie that he made? i'm so excited i downloaded it!! i wasn't able to get the subtitles, but... i have been taking four years of japaense and i study a lot on my own (mostly doing translations of websites and lyrics for people) and man did it pay of! i understood everything (gloats) but have you seen it? iwhen i get enough $$ i'm goin to buy it. you should get it if you love miyavi, it really shows how talented he is!!! it makes me feel soo pathetic compared to him. there is like.. if you have any questions about it, shoot away. i got it on soulseek, but some people are getting through bittoerrent. have a nice day!!!

argh i havent seen the movie T_T and my dad is paranoid so he wont let me download anything >_< im kinda hesitant to buy it because i think its region 2 and doesnt have subtitles...ill be starting 4th japanese in august...which is the last class and i THINK that my computer can play region 2 dvds...but im not sure o_O
